Yes, We FINALLY have our internet back up and working. It was a long three weeks.
Water, Anyone?
(Old, old hand pump at “Bear Town” State Park in West Virginia.)
This is what the pump actually looks like. It was very dark...
about 5:00 when I took these two photos.

ReplyDeleteWelcome back!
ReplyDeleteIt's been awhile since I've seen a drinking fountain like that. Brings back memories of a park I went to as a child.
Genie, We've missed you!!! How frustrating it has been for you, I'm sure. Love the old pump picture--very nice. Hope everything stays "up and running"--hard to function in today's world without the internet. Have a great week, my friend. Mickie :)

Interesting Drinking Fountain. Love the Patina coloring.
ReplyDeleteNice Photos - we had an olde hand pump like this at my Auntie's house and we loved going to visit and use the pump to get a drink. Aah, childhood memories surfacing. NICE n Nice Post.
ReplyDeleteI love old stuff like that! Too often it is destroyed and replaced with something not nearly as nice.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful composition of exquisite colors and shapes, delightful result that you obtained from this source.
ReplyDeleteVery beautiful shots. I like this oldfashioned, vintage style.
ReplyDeleteThese are wonderful photographs Genie! I especially love the first one. Gorgeous textures and tones!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for sharing these at The Creative Exchange.
Have a wonderful day, and so glad your Internet is working again!! Amazing how much we've come to depend on it, isn't it????
lisa.
Nice capture of this neat old drinking fountain!
ReplyDeleteWhat an unusual colour for a water pump. Not your editing then? Doesn't look painted and doesn't seem like oxidized copper. I'm curious as we have an old one lying around from previous owners. But it is just metal colour. Could be made to look that pretty possibly.
