Another One Way Bridge...But Not a Swinging Bridge This Time
These pictures were taken as we were leaving Calvin State Park in West Virginia last Saturday. It was on of those times when veering off of our planned route turned out to be a treasure filled with beauty. Thank goodness when we go out we’re not ever tied to a set plan or schedule. The fall colors were divine.

Dear Genie - The photo of the bridge and the river are stunning and the one taken out of your car window is most interesting " A Driver's View" - neat.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you 100% - when we leave the house or are in the house we are NOT EVER tied to a set plan or SCHEDULE - YIKES, I know people that plan their entire day, week, life around schedules - give me breathing space...PULEEZE.
Thanks for a great post. You're quite the photographer kiddo.
Have a great day. Lilly

ReplyDeleteA lovely view acrros the bridge, the fall colors are looking gorgeous there. Beautiful photos.
ReplyDeleteHow I wish I could be there...so very, very beautiful.
ReplyDeleteSo many times I have gone here or there simply because I saw a thin black line on the map and wondered where it would take me and what I would see. Some of my best adventures have been the result of making a wrong turn. Someday I hope to follow those thin lines on the map in your area and see what your wonderful pictures show.
ReplyDeleteThat first photo makes me feel like I'm right in the car with you! Hello - let me introduce myself - I'm Pat! *smile*
ReplyDeleteGreat shots!
Beautiful! Love your angles and the lovely light and autumn colours.
ReplyDeleteNice bridge and surrounding color and the stream. I'm glad you strayed off the plan.
