Memories of My Visit to the Back Bay National Wildlife Refuge ~ 9-6-11

This was my world last week....The Back Bay National Wildlife Preserve at Virginia Beach, Virginia. We lost 3 days of our week’s vacation due to Irene, but the other 4 were filled with wonderful trips to the refuge and fun times with my family.

"There is nothing in which the birds differ more from man than the way in which they can build and yet leave a landscape as it was before.”

  9. A wonderful place to spend lots of time in, especially in a camera and a kayak.

It is always good to make the best of things even if the weather robs you of a few days.

  15. It would be difficult to stay feeling stressed with this serene scene to meditate on for a while. Your photo processing makes it look like a painting. Hope you're feeling fine, Genie.

  16. Shalom Genie. It must be great to live near such beautiful watery nature. That's one thing I miss in Jerusalem.
