I am jealous of this one. I love to see hay bales like this in fields but I'm usually going by too fast to photograph them. You did a great job with this one.
I'm in the Blue Ridge mountains too! We haven't baled our hay yet though. We usually wait until the end of June. We do square bales. It's so much work!
i have hay field envy... ours needs to be baled!
ReplyDeleteI love seeing these big bales of hay. Our neighbor was baling his yesterday. It always smells so good too!
ReplyDeleteI love these rolled bales. We have rectangles here. They aren't nearly so interesting.
ReplyDeletelovely shot - not seen rolled bales of hay for a long time

ReplyDeleteI remember the days when guys, with brute strength, hefted hay bales onto a wagon!
ReplyDeleteWONDERFUL image !
ReplyDeleteHave a super weekend.
Reminds of the childhood saying..make hay while the sun shines....looks like a hay rolling race going on. :)
