Daily Photo ~ 6-29-11

The Old Wolmerdorf Body Shop
Route 60 West, Rockbridge County, Virginia
This old shop is about 4 miles from our house. Like so many, it is no longer in business but rather just has old cars parked around it. Double click on the awning and you will see it is an old Chevrolet fender...pretty clever.

"The magic formula that successful businesses have discovered is to treat customers like guests and employees like people.”

  4. heheh, may be the awning came from a car.

That shrimp was in a tank in an air port. My friend took the photo, I borrowed it off him.

  5. What a great idea someone had for that shop roof. That is perfect for a car place and red day.

  6. LOVE the fender/awning on that building! Such a shame it's no longer in use. Hopefully the right person will come along and breathe new life back into it!
    Happy REDnesday,

  9. I love the creative thinking it took to go from car fender to awning. Not only is this imaginative, it keeps the rain off when standing by the entrance. I’m surprised such a shop is closed because it would certainly capture my attention and pull me inside.
