The Beginner with PSE 9
The Flying Door
The Flying Door
Heaven only knows what I am doing...this is part of my Rednesday and Ruby Tuesday posts on my other blog, Buttons for Baga. The picture is of a section of the old Stonewall Station placed on top of the background from another picture. It is all trial and error for me at this point, but this one composite gives me a little bit of hope! This is my first try with Photoshop. Several years ago I used bits of pieces of PSE 2.0 when I was doing our middle school yearbook, but I remember nothing from those days. THIS IS SO HARD!
It looks good, Genie. I have never dabbled in Photoshop. Someday, maybe. I congratulate you for jumping in!

Genie this is fantastic. How did you do that? I spent hours upon hours last night trying to put a frame around an image - vintage photo. I didn't have any success. I too am learning Elements and it's a blast. But...I most certainly do not have a clue as to what I'm doing. All that I've learned so far is from a free e-class - The Skinny Mini - from Kim Klassen. I recommend it, you'll learn a lot but you've accomplished something I've never even tried.
ReplyDeleteI love the colors in your photo and what you've done here.
Hi Genie, Thanks for stopping by my blog and welcoming me aboard Sunday Bridges! I am also just beginning to learn Photoshop Elements 9 (Christmas gift). I love what you did with this shot, and look forward to following your progess. (And any helpful hints along the way!) Have a great day.
ReplyDeleteI love your photo. I cam over by way of your other blog and Vintage Thingie Thursday. I just started using Photoshop Elements recently and it's kicking my butt. But I'm bound and determined that I can master it. I've been looking for some good photography blogs, so i'll follow along with your journey here!
