Signs, Fences, and Shadows

These are some more pictures from the walk I took with Eloise a few weeks ago in Richmond. The little mini fences between the homes as well as the large corner ones are to be found all over the area where my son and his family live. The home owners really do take pride in their fences and keep them up beautifully.

  23. I like the idea of the wooden dividing fences. So much nicer than the tall iron ones we see around here.

  24. Great pictures of these mini fences. You often see them in my country too.The Netherlands is so densely populated that we all live close together and a fence sometimes gives more privacy. Although I have very nice neighbours!!

  26. The fences are attractive but what caught my eye is the lush plantings at the base of the fence at the sidewalk - it adds such a nice finishing touch to the neighborhood...indeed, a nice neighborhood!
