Our Friend's Newly Painted Barn
Same picture taken vertically and then horizontally.
This was taken from a different angle altogether but with the same iPhone. I shot one right after the other and look....different coloration and NO blue sky and clouds. Do any of you have a suggestion for remedying this on an iPhone.

looks like you shot that last one into the sun. pretty barn, though!
ReplyDeleteenjoy the vibrant colors. nice!! have a great week. ( :
ReplyDeleteIt's amazing how well the new phones take photos these days. You can use programs like Photo Shop to do what you want. The barn looks brand new!
ReplyDeleteNice! No before?
ReplyDeleteGood looking barn!
ReplyDeleteMy guess would be the change of angle, and therefore light, caused the difference in the last shot. There's a camera app called Camera+ that allows you to change the exposure before you snap the photo. I've found it more useful in certain situations than the default camera app.
Great Pics!
ReplyDeleteLove these big red barns....
ReplyDeleteIts a fine looking barn...love the fence, too.
ReplyDeleteFresh coat of red and it looks awesome! Stopping by from barn charm. Www.prairiegirl4-thatcountryplace.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteThat's a beautiful barn! Nice find!
ReplyDeleteLooking very nice. Is it on stilts?
ReplyDeleteIt looks really nice! Twyla
ReplyDeleteBeautiful barn! It's wonderful that they spruced it up with a new paint job. I like how it is raised up on wood posts--we have a lot of those here due to our hills.
ReplyDeleteI don't have an i-phone, so I can't help you there. But I have noticed that same problem with my camera. A different angle can change everything esp. the sky.
An interesting and pretty barn with it's open area underneath. I'm glad it's been painted and looked after.
ReplyDeleteNothing stands out like a BIG freshly painted barn. That would be quite an undertaking. Yep, the comment by Brian King would work and that would also have been my suggestion. I take a lot of really high quality photos with my iphone, but there's this light issue, but the app would change that and then of course you can always change the sky in programs like photo shop. Like this barn against the sky Genie.
ReplyDeleteThe last photo is taken with the sun facing the shutter, so the photo will be overexposed. The easiest fix is to take the photo at a different time of the day.
ReplyDeleteNice to see someone keep the barn in such good shape.
ReplyDeleteNow that is a lot of work! Looks great!
ReplyDeleteCharming red barn! It's nice to see someBODY loves it and is taking care of it.. :) My iPhone is always bossing me around.. ;)
ReplyDeleteIt does look nice with its new coat of paint. I noticed when shooting a sunset the other night that tapping the screen in the sky area changed how it looked.
ReplyDeleteYes, I like the colors, nice barn!
ReplyDeleteI love this barn! And it's red...my favorite color! Nice capture. :)
ReplyDeleteThe barn looks so pretty with it's new red paint.
ReplyDeleteI've had that happen when I shoot into the sun.
What a beauty! Very nice paint job
ReplyDeleteYour phone takes much better photographs than mine does! Great shots.
ReplyDeleteIt looks as if the barn is built up on an elevated foundation, or even stilts?
