ReplyDeleteLovely, lovely place! The farmhouse and barn look so full of charm, and what a pretty creek!
ReplyDeleteHi Genie,
ReplyDeleteOh...How I love your homeplace. I can only imagine living in such a peaceful setting. As a child I was a country kid growing up on the Oregon Coast...but with a career Navy husband I have been a city dweller until the last seven years. We did live in the southeast for 13 years. Just three hours north of Marietta, Ga. I loved visiting Little Quilts as often as possible. They have several incredible books that are chocked full of patterns and delightful quilt dispays featuring the author's homes.
Seven years ago my husband and I moved to Bend, Oregon. I was raised and went to college in the Northwest and it was good to get home again.
I am so happy to meet you and I look forward to sharing this coming year.
Thank you for visiting and for your thoughtful comment. I'm a fairly new blogger. I started last April and have enjoyed the journey!
Sweet blessings,
Carolynn
What a beautiful setting for a homestead. Love the barn and your old farmhouse. It looks so pretty by the creek. Pamela
