Sunday Bridges from Lexington, VA

This is where the VMI bridge went across the Maury River.
After having to be rebuilt over and over again because of hurricanes and flood, this is awe have left. So Sad.

Another style of Lexington’s bridges over the creeks.

This is another style  of Lexington’s and the county’s bridges over creeks.

They are functional but not very attractive.

This post is linked with Louis LaVache’s Sunday Bridges.

  2. Some people might think they are not very attractive... but beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

  3. Sturdy, utilitarian bridges. The kind we need to get over the hazards of everyday life! :)
    Happy Sunday.
