Some Signs from Lexington

This sign has been on a tree across the road from the house for so long my guess is it was found and has now gone to Happy Kitty Land.

A New Artists Co-Op  in Lexington

The Southern Inn Restaurant has been here for years and years. It is now owned by a former classmate of my eldest son. It caught fire two years back and had to be gutted inside and rebuilt. This is the original neon sign. The food is delicious, and you can get one heck of a good martini for a mere ten dollars.

I couldn’t resist this one. It was nailed on a power line pole so am not sure to what  store it belongs.

Go to Lesley’s "Signs, Signs”  meme to see more signs of the week.

  1. Nice little collection. I like the old neon sign and am glad it is still being used after the restoration.

  4. I have never a 'cat found' sign quite like this one!

The neon sign is interesting, with the 'parking in rear' prominently on top

Very nice collection of the signs. I especially like the old neon sign and even after fire, gutting and restoration, being able to use original sign. Nice

  11. So you are having a rough time figuring out where to comment on my blog. If you are following a link like you did with Lesley's Signs, Signs just scroll down the page. You will see other comments. Just keep scrolling until you get to the last one and you should see the comment box next. On some blogs I also have the same problem you do finding the comment link. This what I do. Hold down the Ctrl key and press the letter f on the keyboard. A small search bar will pop open near the top of your browser. If you are using Internet Explorer it will be on the upper left. I use Google Chrome so it's on the right side. Type in the word "comment". There will be up and down arrows depending which way you are searching. Just keep clicking the arrow until you find what you want. I hope you find this useful. PS: Don't publish this comment unless you want to.
