HOW DO YOU LIKE THESE SHOES?
While I was waiting for Buddy to run in his race last Saturday, I went around taking pictures of the different colored running shoes...anything to keep my mind off of how cold I was. The first ones, which are called Five Fingers, are very popular with runners, and we have met hikers who have worn them while hiking the Appalachian Trail. Bud LOVES his, and I despise them. Think they look ridiculous....but whatever makes him happy is fine with me.

Now, I have two questions for you.
1. How much total money was spent for all of these running shoes?
2. Which pair do you like the best?
i'm really lovin' those vibrant yellow ones. :)
ReplyDeleteI fancy #10 and would guess the whole lot runs around $1200.
ReplyDeleteFootwear today comes in so many styles it boggles the mind.
My son has the first one, the five fingers. He first ran on bare feet but in winter it was to cold, so he is using these ones now to my relief. I was always afraid he would hurt his feet and got infected by durt.
ReplyDeleteI wish I were there when you were taking photos of peoples shoes. I would have loved to hear the comments. I wear Merrell shoes. They are most comfortable ones I have ever had.
ReplyDeleteHi Genie
ReplyDeleteI've never seen Five Fingers shoes. I wonder how can our finger feel when we wear them?
I like 13th shoes and the total is 1400$ ???
Thank you for visiting my blog.
I'd say about an average of $90 a pair and I like the first one's the best, although I'd probably not wear them.
ReplyDeleteWow...lots of shoes. I'm not sure how I feel about those shoes. They seem like they would be hard to run in???
ReplyDeleteWonderful running shoes, there are some very good quality, but I have a lot of attention early. I've never seen a same.
ReplyDeleteBlue with green laces - Kool n Kute
ReplyDeleteNice Photos - Bet there's a pile of money invested in all this footwear - like a BUNCH :)
I need new shoes...I will take the second pair.
ReplyDeleteNow you know, Genie, that I don't get intimidated too easily, but heavens, keep me out of a sports shoe shop! I cringe every time I need new tennis shoes. But I've never paid more than $25-30 for a pair (but then I live in Asia) and I know they easily go $70 and upwards. For special running shoes? I'd guess there's over $1200 in these collectively. If I didn't have to pay for them, I might pick the Nike pair, #2, or... #9... oh, here I go again! LOL! But I doubt I'd ever choose #1!
ReplyDeleteVery fun! Love all the different colors!
ReplyDeletefun series. I like all the colors.

ReplyDeleteI am just going to buy new ones for me but cannot decide the color but now I know :)
