in the picture ~ {a piece of me} ~ #19 ~ Train Ride at 73

Sleeping Car for Norfolk and Western Railway
A Very Narrow Walkway
Velvet Curtains
Beautiful Wood

I had great fun riding in the caboose on the train on Saturday. After it stopped, I was able to walk into another car. It brought back memories of my catching the Florida East Coast Railroad in West Palm Beach in the afternoon, and arriving in Atlanta where I was attending Emory University. I had an upper berth and it was great fun.

  6. Lovely memories. My one and only train ride was during my collegiate years from Texas to Minnesota for a convention.

  9. I recall a sailor blouse from my childhood and remember how much I loved wearing it. Your sailor dress is wonderful!

  10. An elegant traveler then and now. I enjoy train travel a lot too, but haven't as much as I'd like. Like Margaret, I yearn to do the Orient Express.
