SOOC
This precious old stucco house was for sale for years. It looked so sad sitting there with no one living in it. Whenever I took the back roads to and from school I would see it and drool. There were those "for sale" sheets out front with all the info on it, but I would not allow myself to stop. The front section looks like a little cottage with the main house behind, and there is the sweetest fence all the way around it. Last year it sold, and the people who bought it keep the place in gorgeous shape. I may be getting a bit silly in my old age, but it is sort of magical having a “dream house” as dear as this one to ride by every day or so. I don’t think any of us are too old to dream.

love the metal roofing too. it's worth dreaming about. :)
ReplyDeleteFrom one dreamer to another, I love the stucco home.
ReplyDeleteIt so deserves to be lived in.
I have a few dream houses of my own. I don't really want them, I just like them and appreciate the owners keeping them in shape.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful place! I like the fences and those trees!
ReplyDeleteOh Genie -- we definitely are never too old to dream -- just can't happen! I am so glad that the people who bought the house put it in good shape and keep it that way; it definitely deserves it.
ReplyDeleteBet it's neat on the inside as a pin too!
ReplyDeleteNever too old! I have several dream houses...each for a different scenario!!
ReplyDeleteDreams are what keep us young - My Mom used to always say "keep dreaming and one day your dreams will come true". I like to dream too - my dream house is a cottage built with logs from the property right on the Bay of Fundy - yep, that's my dream :)
ReplyDeleteI think I'd love an old farmhouse filled with rocking chairs and chintzy fabrics and old iron beds -the comforts I remember from my grandparents.
ReplyDeleteI'm always cautious though - you know there would be a lot of work inside to do if it hadn't been renovated.
A fence all around my home is on my bucket list for someday. :)
