These pictures were taken a few minutes after 7:00 this morning on my way to work. It was a very dreary morning before the sun was out.
“The beginning of love is to let those we love be perfectly themselves, and not to twist them to fit our own image. Otherwise we love only the reflection of ourselves we find in them.”

What a lovely pond! Great reflections for the day, Genie! I always love the watery ones -- even on dreary days!! We've had more than our share of those lately! Hope you get some sun over the weekend!! Enjoy!

ReplyDeleteGreetings on this lovely Saturday morning. This is just the kind of day, one has to get in the car and go watch the eagles at play or take the ferry to Deer Island, with the beauty of the smaller islands about you as you pass by.
ReplyDeleteThis may have been a dreary day, however you have as always, captured the beauty in your photos. Lovely
What a beautiful site you have! Your pictures are wonderful. Even though you say the morning was dreary you couldn't tell. The pond looks so peaceful and the perfect place for coffee in the morning.
ReplyDeleteJoining your site! I love it!

ReplyDeleteBeautiful! Thanks for posting them.
ReplyDeletelovely scenery and beautiful reflections
ReplyDeleteyou find the most serene spots. the first one is my fave - the soft pink blossoms. these are lovely reflection shots Genie. the shapes of the hills, the soft colors, it's springtime alright. happy day to you my friend.
ReplyDeletePeaceful and calm (reflective in both senses of the word) and really doesn't look dreary to me at all -- there's that pink tree and the gray kind of looks silvery instead of gray.
ReplyDeleteLovely shots!
