A Piece of Me~ {in the picture} ~ 52 in 52 ~ #10

Our Front Yard

Boy, was this one hard to take....placing and replacing the camera, setting the timer, running time after time to plop in the snow, and then running back to check the camera. I have no clue how many times I had to do this to finally get a result with which I was happy. Thought it was gonna to be an easy commitment, but I have found out differently. I am totally amazed at the selflies the other participants are posting. They are awesome.

  1. You did a great job! It's kind of funny, imagining you running back and forth and flopping down in the snow :)

  3. That sounds so funny, I can see you running time after time and the dog looking at you, what the hell is she doing? playing? But the result is great!

  4. I can imagine how many takes you had to go through to capture this. I tried the same thing with myself running and jumping up on huge dry lake in the desert one time with my with trying to capture the shot. I was getting pretty tired after the first ten failed tries to be caught in mid-air. Well done Genie.

  8. Awww... what a nice photo, Genie!
Made me cry a bit, actually. My dog Stalin passed away exactly two weeks ago, and I miss him so so much. I don't think I can ever look at any dog again without shedding a tear. :(

  9. Morning Genie - Sunny here today and very mild compared to -12 yesterday. Love this photo as this is typical of what Jack and I do, as well as you and your Jack. I love it.
