This is the Shield’s Barn which is located about 4 miles from our place. My 46 year old son was great friends with their son. All the guys out here on the creek hung out together through their teenage years and had a great, low key style of life together. It was a wonderful time. This is still a working family barn and in pretty good condition.
very nice! love the fence in front, too!

ReplyDeleteGreat photos of this charming old barn!
ReplyDeleteI like the juxtaposition of the old barn with the red shed and the red fence as well!
ReplyDeleteYour texture treatments are very nice. I especially like the third one and how the few red leaves left on the tree pick up the red in the fence. Lovely!

ReplyDeleteDid school start as it was supposed to?
Your winter post made me feel warmer by the way -- we are having a cold snap here; worry for the citrus crops as it may freeze tonight. It is 44 this evening here with wind -- all of us Floridians are freezing, you'd probably think it was spring .
Love our images, thanks for sharing. Blessings
