Shadows on Bridge to Somewhere

Shadows on our “Bridge to Somewhere” taken just before the trees lost all
of their leaves. You can see the front end of Bud’s truck on the left ~ "Big Blue ~ and the bay window of our living room in the background.

  2. Your little bridge looks very similar to the bridge we have at our cabin that crosses a ravine by the river. Lovely. Very soon Kim's classes will begin. Excited to start!

  3. I love this, Genie!
Shooting shadows is like racing after time, freezing the moment, and catching your breath after, listening to your heart, and closing your eyes for being part of that moment!

  8. If it were a Bridge to Nowhere, I would hesitate to take it!

A SHADOW THE SIZE OF THE SUN

If I had a shadow the size of the sun,
I’m not sure how fast I’d be able to run,
Or if I could flee from its ravenous jaws,
While keeping away from its razor-sharp claws!

  13. Is there a creek, or small river underneath the bridge - and where does it go from here. Does it travel to the left or to the right. Nice Shadows - lovely thick n thin
lines n criss cross. Well done :)
