These shots were taken during our visit to the American Visionary Art Museum in Baltimore. The entrance to the museum is directly across the street from Fort McHenry so I was able to shoot these close up shots with the trusty old telephoto. That American flag was huge!
God Bless America
Land that I love.
Stand beside her, and guide her
Thru the night with a light from above
From the mountains, to the prairies,
To the oceans, white with foam
God bless America, My home sweet home.

Hi Genie, so you were visiting my hometown. Great shots of the flag at Fort McHenry. I hope you enjoyed your visit. Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I especially like he last two pictures.

Very inspiring photo of the flag! Francis Scott Key wrote our national anthem while at Ft. McHenry on Sept 14 1812. A bit of history I remember because I was born on Sept 14th
