A Camera View of the World

I found this old camera at our local antique/flea mall and could not resist getting it. The bottle was a dollar and the fake flower another dollar from the Dollar Store. Made a white box out of an old wooden milk carrier, and found a spot in the house upstairs that get  wonderful “natural" light. In Kim Klassen’s "Beyond Layers" class we are working on simplicity and lighting combined with the use of textures.

  1. I like the photo very much, my father used to have such a camera, I inherited it as my husband collects cameras.

  2. Wow! I am so impressed with what you're learning in that class. I love the composition and you were so smart to think of making the box the way you did. It's just beautiful. (Plus I love old cameras too.)

  4. A lovely work of art there, that texture you've used is my free one called plaster postale, not Kim Klassens.
