(Yes, I was naughty. I had the window open in 23 degree weather holding and clicking the shutter button with my left hand while watching the road and steering with the right hand. I was going VERY slowly (15-20mph) and am amazed that they came out at all. T’was a Christmas miracle of sorts! Now you understand the slant.)
i like these in old-timey B&W!
ReplyDeleteVery nice! The photos look so old!
ReplyDeleteI like the aged photo effect you have used on these. Very appropriate for the subject matter.
ReplyDeleteWonderful images...
ReplyDeleteGreat processing - perfect for that old barn.
ReplyDeleteGreat barn, and love this processed in black and white!
ReplyDeletewell I don't know if Blogger was having some difficulties or what, but when I tried to leave a comment earlier the comment box was teeny tiny and I couldn't see the type at all! all is fixed now. I love these barn photos - they could be in the Midwest. those silos are typical on the Wisconsin landscape here. Don't you love them? I love your vintage textures too. good job Genie. happy day to you.
ReplyDeleteGenie, Santa knows if you've been naughty! :)
ReplyDeleteLove the look of these - the last one especially! It looks like it is awfully high. Love that white fence surrounding the property.
Your processing gives it a very vintage feel.
You always have the most interesting frames and post processing for your pics. Love them!
ReplyDeleteoh you be careful! i do the same thing ;) great barns and love the black/white!
ReplyDeleteThey're great & can't believe you shot these while driving... I really like how you edited them! Very cool!
ReplyDeleteLove that last one & that white fence!
Thanks for joining Barn Charm =)))
I like them...I haven't opened a window to shoot while driving but I have shot while driving...once just holding the camera up and sort of aiming and clicking...another time I won't say how...but nothing dangerous.
ReplyDeleteI think those B/W captures were worth you being naughty. I think the one hand snap in 23 degree weather, cruising 15 to 20 enhanced the composition. They are lovely black and whites. Enchanting really, but I am a lover of tilted/slanted shots :) Thank you for the visit to my blog this morning. I will be back to visit here!
