My favorite spot to stop on the way to work for shooting sunrises. I call it my "Field of Dreams" though it backs up to a rather unattractive area where VDOT stores sand and gravel for use on the roads during winter. The rest of the year they plop stuff everywhere and park their big old trucks there. Messy they are, and they really do interfere with the beauty of my little "Field of Dreams,” but I am not complaining. Without them I would not be able to get to work in the first place come the ice and snow. What is that old saying.....don’t kick a gift horse in the mouth!” This dark shot is basically SOOC...had to lighten the shadows just a bit so you could see the mess :-)
