It is rapidly falling apart starting with the tin roof and working downward.

oh, tell your friend to get that roof repaired!!! it's too pretty to go down!
ReplyDeleteI love that silvered wood against the green.
ReplyDeleteAnd of course the teapot/flower image you softened so nicely yesterday.
BTW, there will be a fresh wheel every day this month.Quite a task. Please come and inspect them.

These photos are delightful Genie. I love the softness you gave them.
ReplyDeleteisn't the tin roof saving the barn? they usually last a good long time. the color of the wood boards is beautiful. you've captured it well Genie. can't believe it's time for Barn Charm already. have a great week.
ReplyDeleteOnce those old barns start to go, it's difficult to repair them. Made for great photos, though. :)
ReplyDeleteThere is so much beauty in the decay of this old barn and your photos capture it so well. Nice job.
ReplyDeleteWhat a neat old barn! I really like the other buildings too. They made great mosaics!
ReplyDeleteLove the old buldings! That outhouse looks like it will withstand a storm.
ReplyDeleteDoes your friend not need the barn or any of the outbuildings anymore? Well, certainly not the outhouse. Though perhaps outhouses should remain on the land as stark reminder of how far we have come.
ReplyDeleteThat last photo in the top row really makes me want to go inside even more than normal.
ReplyDeleteThe siding has weathered to such a lovely silvery grey! Too bad the barns are falling into disrepair though.
ReplyDeletei like how you've given us a view of everything!! how's your husband doing on his hike?
ReplyDeleteI have to 2nd Rose's comment, just something about that shot that really makes want to get inside! Also the stone foundation of the 1st 2 pics in the 2nd collage... looks like treasures abound in there =)
ReplyDeleteI know it happens, but it's such a shame to see old buildings tumble away. Great shots.

Ohh too bad this will just tumble down soon. ^_^
ReplyDeleteBarn Charm
The old, falling-down barns are the best. This one is a gem!
