Stuck in Hot I-81 Traffic for Hours
We were directly behind this tractor trailer, and the reflection is of another red one that was smack dab behind us. We were in a T-T Sandwich for over 2 hours. Not Fun!

oh that wouldn't be any fun at all!
ReplyDeleteThat sounds terrible!! But you did get a great capture and reflection -- might not have been worth two hours sandwiched between the trucks though, but it's a terrific shot! Hope you don't have to repeat it over the weekend!! Enjoy!

Oh wow that red truck looks bigger than the one in front of yah!! Happy weekend!
ReplyDeleteWeekend Reflection
The perils of limited access highway travel. When you're stuck you're stuck. But you salvaged a neat reflection from this. Always the photographer. LOL
ReplyDeleteMay be it wasn't fun but at least you could take a very nice shot !! That's the positive side of it !
ReplyDeleteI would not have envied you! I have been in my share of traffic jams, though.
ReplyDeleteNasty...traffic jams are boring. But at least you got a great reflection!
ReplyDeleteHope your weekend gets better, and cooler i am roasting up here.
ReplyDeleteThat doesn't sound good at all!
ReplyDeletehah! great Vonnegut quote Genie. you've managed to take a boring experience and find some great shots. always on the lookout for a shot, hey? nice spot here. too bad you were stuck behind this thing for hours, I don't like that at all. it's bad enough to be stuck in traffic but when your view is completely block like this, that makes it even worse. you made lemonade, I love it. nice reflection. I hope you're staying cool and having a fun summer. have a great weekend Genie.
ReplyDeleteAmazing how memes can help shape one's perceptions. Like others said, lemon aid from lemons.
ReplyDeletea malaysian saying, when two elephants fight, the mouse deer is squash.
ReplyDeleteYou are smack in between two elephant trailers.
I'm glad you arrived safely! I hope you had a tall glass of lemonade to help cool you down, :)
ReplyDeleteThat's a clever reflection shot, but perhaps not worth the suffering of being sandwiched between two trucks for two hours! Hope your car has A/C!
ReplyDeleteTraffic jam such, but you took the most of it ! Well done : great picture !
