ReplyDeleteBeautiful landscape and a wonderful capture of the moody sky. Great photo, happy skywatching!
ReplyDeleteOh, ominous looking skies they are! How dramatic! And what a terrific capture, Genie! What strange weather patterns we've all had this summer! Hope you have a good weekend!

Great shot. I can almost feel what it was like in the air at that moment.
ReplyDeleteDid those ominous clouds unburden themselves?
ReplyDeleteSKY SONG
Glowing moon and shining stars,
Venus, Jupiter and Mars,
Planets swirling round the sun;
Darkness falls when day is done.
In the vast and endless sky
Eagle, wren and falcon fly;
Over hill and dale they roam,
Calling cloud and thunder home.

Slice of Sky
I like the colours, but maybe I am missing something - those cars look a little incongruous sitting in the field!
ReplyDeleteGenie, What a great shot of those "wide open spaces". Skies don't have to be blue, pink, orange, or yellow to be impressive. Always makes one have a "respect" for nature when you see a sky like that. Have a lovely weekend. Mickie :)
ReplyDeleteI did a dramatic moody sky this week as well.
ReplyDeleteIs this at a ball field?
I would LOVE it if our skies looked like that! great skies Genie. hope you have a fabulous weekend my friend.
ReplyDeletethis grey sky looks like the sky i have outside the window. great wide angle shot.
ReplyDeleteHmmm looks like you are a paparazzi to these people. But may I ask what are they doing there?

ReplyDeleteI can almost feel them rolling in, Genie...
ReplyDeleteVery dramatic. Hope you are staying cool this summer.
ReplyDeleteHope some of that rain moves my way. I love how expansive this shot is.
ReplyDeleteHope it stayed dry for whatever event they were parked there.
