This evening my husband and I went out to Lake Robertson to take pictures with our new iPhones. We do not have a clue what we are doing, and it is almost crunch time. Bud leaves on the 2nd of August to hike the Long Trail from Vermont to one foot into Canada. He wanted the iPhone so he would have a phone as well as a camera all in one... less weight in the old backpack. Plus, he will be able to post directly to his hiking FB page. These signs were down where the boats put in and are SOOC or should I say...SOOiP.

You have some pretty nice photos from your iPhone.
ReplyDeleteHow long does your husband expect to take for this hike "one foot into Canada"? Hiking from VT to QC would be very scenic.
My wife has one of those. Thinking only her Nikon took good pictures, she was impressed with what that little gadget produced. So she's found herself using the camera feature (video too) more than she thought she would.
ReplyDelete. More and more I see great photo's from those Iphones. I have one too but am no able to put them on my computer LOL so that is not a great help. Have a nice day
ReplyDeleteAmazing quality.
ReplyDeleteThose signs are in a foreign language I take it :-)
and I am glad to see that they look after the fish' livers, by prohibiting them to partake of strong liquor.
What is this one foot thing? A passport will be required on his return:-)
ReplyDeleteA very good shot from an iphones. Many iphones now has a good megapixel and I've seen good photos like yours. Thanks for sharing!

great photos from the phone! will your husband have a hiking buddy? that sounds like an awesome hike!!
ReplyDeleteModern technologies sometimes still blows my brain....and, these photos...well, the cellphone has come a log way in such a short time. Great photos and the clarity is super.
ReplyDeleteI always enjoy you visiting with me...thanks for stopping by for my Ruby Tuesday/Picstory Tuesday post.
My Thursday Post Link: Nor-r-r-r-m!!!
You certainly got plenty of signs here! So many things you can and can't do... :)
ReplyDeleteLooks like you were in Singapore. This city state has so many DO NOT signs,
ReplyDeleteExcellent quality! Looks like you have to be careful about what you can do there.
ReplyDeleteThose phones take better pictures than my phone!
ReplyDeleteWhat are jug lines I wonder?
Looks like caretakers of this lakeside need to make a consolidated sign of DON'Ts! I agree with the others, Genie, those cell phones sure take some good images. I don't like using my cell phone at all, but now I am contemplating getting a smart phone with photo capability instead of getting a small point and shoot for those rare occasions I don't carry my camera, see something, and want to shoot myself. That sounds like quite the hike your hubby is embarking on. Like Andy, I wonder what you mean by one step...?
ReplyDeleteThat sounds like a wonderful hike. I laughed at the 'crunch time' remark, you seem to have coped very well the photos are great.
