neat photo. it almost looked like fog on a glass pane.
ReplyDeleteThis is so misty and pretty - almost ethereal - love it!
ReplyDeleteYou and Mr. Muir are so right! Especially if you get to walk near such a serene place like the one in the photo. Very nice!
ReplyDeleteWOW Genie. you've got it going on here. the light! the texture! (meaning the grasses, but the other too). this is something I'm seriously intending to work on - water reflections. I have no good results in my attempts but after looking at this awesomeness I'm inspired. it's all about the light and you have that mastered. I think it would be a whole lot of fun to go shooting with you. I just know it. have a fun weekend Genie.
ReplyDeleteTerrific reflection and I love Muir's words! Hope you have a lovely weekend, Genie!

Hiya Genie,
ReplyDeleteJust in case you are interested in becoming more at ease with making mouse-over doubles for your before and after editing pix, I made a [rather nice even if I say so myself :-)] tutorial [http://joco-how-to.blogspot.com/]
Come take a look.
Love the rising mist effect! Like a romantic mystery!
ReplyDeleteHow nice to have company.
ReplyDeleteBTW, I made it a lot simpler since you last looked. Still, I may have reinvented the wheel :-)
Great reflection. I took your advice this morning!
ReplyDeleteThis is interesting, Genie.. I enlarged your image and looked at it for quite some time before I could really make out what was going on!
ReplyDeleteCool reflection! I like the way it's framed by the bushes.
