"Cows are my passion. What I have ever sighed for has been to retreat to a Swiss farm, and live entirely surrounded by cows - and china.” ~Charles dickens
Genie your images are amazing. you're learning a whole lot more in Kim's classes than I, but I got easily overwhelmed and put it aside. (I rarely use my Elements anymore). I love what you're doing with textures. If I could get mine to even remotely resemble yours I would give it a go again. I think with this change of seasons I'm going to take another class and see where it goes. I was looking through your images and they are just fantastic. it is so apparent that you are having a whole lot of fun! Yesterday I went to finally purchase my first dslr (after researching cameras for a year) and they were out of stock.... I've waited this long so another few weeks won't hurt but today is so beautiful I'm really feeling the loss of not having that new toy to play with!!! drats. I hope you're having a fantastic weekend Genie.
I didn't really understand the Dickens quote but loved the serenity of the photo.

I like this, Genie! I like the fence in the foreground and the barn in the distance. And the cows add interest!
