Skyline View on a Dreary, Cold Day
This is the view we get when we huff and puff up to the tippy top of the gigantic hill - I call it a small mountain - directly behind our home. The views of the sky and clouds are magnificent and well worth the struggle once you get up there.
Go to The Weekend in Black and White to see more monochromatic photography.
Gray skies seem to be prevalent these days! Great photo, Genie.

Looks like a great place to walk. I love the way trees look with bare branches.
ReplyDeleteThe subject of this winter photo is perfectly suited for b&w.
ReplyDeleteNice shot, Genie!
I love the tracery of the tree branches, and the patterns of the fallen leaves. The view must be great on a clear day.

Hello again Genie. Thank's your very very kind words. I know what you mean about this going on world. I work in television news here so I see daily every bad thing what is happening. To delete that from my brains I need more beauty around me. When I go to walk to the woods I try to see only the beautiness. I want to create beautiful things to my life. I really don't know whats going on with the young people why they are shooting them selves and others...SAD.
ReplyDeleteBut let's watch more beautiful "staff"
Henrietta:)
Nice shot. I love the trees against the sky and clouds. These pictures always make me happy. All those branches reaching out.
