My 39 year son attempting to rock hop across Kerrs Creek in front of our house. We had just climbed to the top of the hill at the rear of our property, but to get back home we all had to successfully maneuver the creek which was running pretty full. Thank goodness he was successful because he was carrying the camera.I slipped into the water, but that is to be expected. I cannot rock hop!
Go to Watery Wednesday to see more images of water.
Nice adventure!
ReplyDeletePlease come and see my Watery Wedensday entry, thank you in advance!
.
I can't rock hop either. Great shot.
ReplyDeleteI'd be on my comfy behind in the middle of the water ... I'm always too careful and there's nothing worse!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photo, thanks for sharing.

ReplyDeleteWet rocks are just so slippery... great photo...
ReplyDeleteNice hat too :-)
ReplyDeleteI love this photo. His concentration on where to put his feet next, which rock to choose. I've done that so many times. And I love his hat. great capture. and how blessed you are to live in such a beautiful area.
ReplyDeleteI would have let me son carry the camera too because I certainly would have ended up in the creek! :)
ReplyDeleteLovely spot and a wonderful capture.
ReplyDeleteglad he made it.
ReplyDeleteI tried that a few weeks back (while carrying my camera) and wound up knee deep in water.
ReplyDeleteI'm not great at "rock hopping" either. Neat photo and interesting words to accompany it.
ReplyDeleteUh oh...
ReplyDeleteFor this shot, even if it wasn't necessarily taken on Wednesday, you did indeed have a Watery Wednesday...
;-(
If it's any consolation, «Louis» would not be good a rock-hopping, either...
