Skywatch Friday ~ 1-7-11

These two sunset shots were taken out in the corn field behind my daughter’s home in Still Pond Maryland. Never in my life have I seen such color....house-on-fire red! She said sunsets like this one are commonplace on the Eastern Shore of the US. For me, it was the special, unforgetable treat to experience that first time.

  3. A couple of weeks ago I enjoyed a similar sunset - and kept chasing it across town to try and get a better unobstructed photo. Your photo more accurately caught the colors I saw, but I did my best. Beautiful post!
