Swinging Bridge over the Maury River at Goshen Pass
Rockbridge County, Virginia
This bridge is one of our favorite places to go whether it is fall, winter, spring, or summer. It’s such a quiet, beautiful, and serene spot. Fly fishermen come here to cast for Rainbow Trout; children and adults come here to swim in the waters; everyone that comes always manages to rock and jump up and down on the old bridge when crossing it.
This is the shoreline under the swinging bridge.
The Maury River flowing under the bridge.
I love the bridge like this, Feel fresh air with all nature... Brilliant !

It would be the jumping and rocking that would keep me off that bridge! Butr it does look picturesque.
ReplyDeleteIt's very pretty but I get seasick on this kind of bridge. :)

Lovely swing bridge in a lovely setting.
ReplyDeleteAsesome photo in the first one. I love swinging bridges - I love jumping on them. Frightens the others!☺
ReplyDeleteThe river looks like the Queen River in Tasmania. Happy Sunday.
Although your photo makes the bridge look inviting, I'd probably just stay on the sidelines - unless I was the only one on the bridge! Ha ha!
ReplyDeleteI love that bridge! Although, with my fear of heights, I might take a pass on walking across it.
