She is an ace at catching them and then I go out and find the remains on the porch.

It breaks my heart. But, we live in the country and we have a pond. That means we have to watch out for snakes and cats love to kill snakes!

I am grateful she has not gotten one in quiet a while and I hope I didn't just jinx myself and a poor little bird with that remark.

It's all part of nature though. I grew up in the city but my husband has turned me into a country girl!

I was fending off a bobcat the other day!

Thanks for the information about the bird. At first I thought it might be a Mockingbird.

Thanks for sharing. I hope you have a lovely week!Jackiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05378896151545384221noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3944680374762156997.post-32768879603456419522013-02-04T23:06:57.793-08:002013-02-04T23:06:57.793-08:00Sad, but beautiful, even in death. I wish birds would learn to identify glass windows! When we lived in Pullman WA while Bill was going to school, all the big glass windows and glassed in walkways between the University buildings had black owl silhouettes taped on them to frighten songbirds away from flying into them.
