February 11. 2016 ~ A Different Way to Climb over a Fence

“Don’t let the fear of the time it will take to accomplish something stand in the way of your doing it. The time will pass anyway; we might just as well put that passing time to the best possible use.”

  1. It makes it easier to get over for sure. I have seen these in the UK in the countryside.

  10. That's beautiful! With regard to the odd characters in my last comment, I've seen those in place of what is supposed to be an apostrophe. Not sure why it happens, though.

  13. When I was a kid growing up in Utah and Arizona I remember seeing all sorts of little contraptions put in by ranchers and farmers to go over a fence.

  14. There's some kind of old nursery rhyme about somebody climbing over a stile and I never knew what it was until one time when Bill took me with him hunting (before we were married) and we climbed over a fence like this and he told me that it was a stile! Not the last thing he ever taught me!
